  • (Night: High 60's) (Night: 50%-70%)

Trimming

Topping

During the third or fourth week in the veg stage, make a cut to the top of the cannabis plant just above where last branch comes out. Will make the main stem spilt into two

Super Cropping

During the second or third week in veg stage, take a branch between your fingers and gently crush. Be careful breaking is a high risk and slows down growth. Will develop multiple branches

Cannabis Bush

During the third week of veg stage, Cut the top off and prune about 50% of the cannabis plant. Will grow more out then up.

Training

By attaching a wire from the cannabis plant to object, you can tighten it little by little each day to slowly bend the plant. Will promote side growth.    .

Single Bud

Flower plants while only one foot to have only one bud with no branches. Useful for small gardens

Lollipop

During the fourth week of veg stage, Remove all lower branches to allow airflow and easy access

Bending

During the third to fourth week of veg stage, Put a pencil on the stem and gently little by little push the stem over the pencil. Will promote side growth.

FIM Technique

During the third to fourth week of veg stage, cut about 3/4 of the small bud at the very top at the cannabis plant. Will develop multiple colas

Greenhouse Concert Theory

  • It been suggested that Vibrations may help stimulate plants growth on a cellular level by helping cytoplasmic streaming process through transporting nutrients, proteins and organelles more effectively
  • 1962 Dr. T. C. Singh, Annamalia University Experiments found that Violins is the most effective instrument to play to plants
  • Music can allegedly improve yield by up to 20% Still waiting for more definitive evidence to confirm this theory, with so many variables in these experiments that may not have been properly managed or even accounted for It might be not that the plants love music but that the caretakers do
  • Plants listening to soothing music will grow towards the speakers and entangle themselves around them
  • Don’t put the plants right next to loud speakers, allow room
  • Vibrations from music could be used to enhance plants defenses against insects

Maintain schedule

  • All filters should be check and cleaned once a week  After a while filters and bulbs become less effective and should be replaced
  • Light bulbs should be replaced about once a year
  • Reverse filters should be replaced about every year
  • Water filters should be replaced every 6 months
  • Air filters should be replaced about every 3 months
  • Carbon filters replaced about every 2 years

Energy Savers

  • Turn down Water Heater
  • Use LED Lights
  • Unplug unnecessary Electrical Devices
  • Use a Smart Thermostat to Maintain Temperature
  • Collect, Filter and Store Rain Water

Lunar Gardening

The practice of using the lunar cycle affects on plant growth. Theory goes just as the Moon's gravity creates the waves of the oceans, it also effects plant growth.  Cannabis should be planted during Waxing of the Moon (Re-up moon to Fully Packed Moon) As the moonlight increases night by night, plants are encouraged to grow leaves and stems

MOON PHASES:

  • Re-up Moon
  • Waxy Crescent
  • Fresh Quarter
  • Waxy Half-moon
  • Fully packed moon
  • Faded Half-moon
  • Shake Quarter
  • Faded Crescent

Takes the moon one month to orbit the earth once
